We cordially invite you to the launch event for the 2024 program of Independent Space Index 2024!

Independent Space Index is the largest annual joint event of Vienna’s independent contemporary art spaces. Visitors can attend freely accessible special events and exhibitions with joint open hours from 2-6pm from Friday 31 May to Sunday 2 June. 

With 52 spaces participating in the open house weekend, and 44 events, the launch event is a chance to gather information to prepare your personal tour. Get an overview of the festival program, pick up a festival guide and poster, try out our integrated digital map and navigation tool, exchange tips about the festival weekend, and join space operators and artists to celebrate and share Vienna’s lively independent contemporary art scene.

It is also a chance to hang out at Depot Café’s new Schanigarten!
